Payton lost her first tooth!!

Payton lost her first tooth late Monday night (1/28/08). She pulled it out herself!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS!

Today is Travis's big day. He is home sick which is a bummer but nonetheless doing alright (he has the stomach flu). It worked out well due to the extreme winter weather we recieved the last few days---the roads are trecherous and the snow is here to stay for a while. So at least he wasn't slipping and sliding into work today.

Here are some pictures of his celebration with friends last night. The Boise gang all chipped in and got him Rock Band so he was quite happy to get that!! Talk about a generous gift!! Thank you!

Recent Pictures of Payton. Here is her soccer team photo; pictures of her Kindergarten class (yes only 7 children in her Kindergarten class!); and pictures of Payton with her partner she meets with once a week at the local nursing hom (she does this with her class). Payton reads to Gladys and also makes crafts for her. Gladys is 99 years old and Payton absolutely adores her!

X Box

Travis got his X BOX tonight and has got it all dialed in!! Happy Birthday a little early!!!

My first go around at blogging

Well I found yet another way to stay fully addicted to the internet!! I figure this is a great way to post pictures and updates of the family in a user friendly format!

Things are well here in Boise----we are still a family of 4 which is to be expected right now! This Friday we will be 36 weeks pregnant and the doctor promised to let me go into labor anytime after that mark. Now if my body will just cooperate and give birth!! I sure hope we go a little earlier than the due date of Feb. 22 but one can never be too sure. The nurse had to remind me at my last appointment that I went the full 40 weeks with the other 2. Dang it anyways!

Payton and Shae are doing well. Payton has been telling us all about Martin Luther King Jr and his legacy. It's been so fascinating and mind boggling at the same time listening to her speak of such abstract concepts. She is definitely a sponge of knowledge! Shae is getting rougher daily, but I guess in a good way. He has a lot of energy most days, who wouldn't when you go to bed at 8:30 each night and wake up by 6:30 each morning?! His day usually includes a 3 hour nap so go figure! Really though, he is rough in the sense that he loves to be physical whether it's wrestling, playing basketball, soccer, or his new thing; hockey. Both of the kids have these bouncy balls with handles you sit on and bounce so each morning and afternoon they are literally bouncing all over the house. It's been a great winter indoor activity!!

Travis is also well. His basketball league started up this month so he is enjoying a weekly basketball practice and a game with the boys. His team is comprised of fellow Micron employees. They really enjoy it. His new addiction is Rock Band (Thank you Troy and Dave). If you don't know what Rock Band is; climb out from under the rock you are sleeping under and google that! It's a fun new video game out. I have promised to purchase an X Box 360 for his birthday so once we get that, I'm sure his own copy of Rock Band will soon follow!!!

Well that is that in a nut shell! I will keep all of you posted as we draw near to the birth of our monster, I mean baby! I think I have decided on different names once again so instead of telling all of you the names I think we will go with; or possibly change last minute, I will keep the surprise under wraps! I know I should just pick one boy name and one girl name and stick with it, but for some reason it is a lot harder this time around!!
