Payton, Shae, and Reid welcome their cousin into the world!

Just a quick note to say that we are SO excited to announce another addition to the family!! Angie and Clayton welcomed baby Katelyn into the world yesterday (2/26) into the world.

Payton, Shae, and Reid are so excited to become cousins! Travis and I can hardly believe that we are now an Aunt and an Uncle. Look out Angie and Clayton, we plan to spoil that baby of yours:)

Katelyn, we hear is a perfect, beautiful baby girl---she has a full head of dark brown hair, perfect skin complexion, and is a wide eyed alert baby. Sounds like Angie and Katelyn are doing well this morning at the hospital.

We cannot wait for the chance to meet baby Katelyn, it is SO exciting to have 2 new additions to the family in less than a week!!

More details (hopefully a picture or 2 to come) later.

Reid going home from the hospital

Hello again! I forgot to add birth statistics on my last blog---I have probably bomboarded all of you with enough of this information via email and myspace but in case you are wondering:

Reid was born at 4:29 pm on February 22nd at St Lukes Boise Medical Center. He weighed 10 pounds 4 ounces and is 21 and 1/2 inches long. He is a very quiet baby, he squeaks rather than cries! Very cute!
Here are some pictures from the hospital and leaving to go home. Our first night (last night) was alright. Little to no sleep for Travis and myself but we completely expected that! We do really well taking shifts which is nice so one isn't totally exhausted!

Introducing Reid Andrew Ferguson

Hello All!

Here are the pictures everyone has been asking for! Pictures of the big whopper! We came home this afternoon and are settling in. Reid likes to sleep all day and of course play at night so it's low key today. Thank you for all the calls, cards, flowers, and well wishes!! More pictures to come in the next week!! We love you all very much!

EVICTION DATE SET FOR THE BABY!!

Just a quick update on the baby's arrival----I went in for my weekly appointment this past Friday and found out that I am dilating. Not by much but labor or I should say the start of labor has started. If I don't go into labor on my own (which this weekend was discouraging with strong contractions but no progress), then I go in this Friday (22nd) to be induced. I will call early Friday morning to see if the hospital has a spot for me---if so we go in at 7 am. If not, we may have to wait until the afternoon or possibly Saturday morning. So either way; we should have our baby sometime this week or weekend!! We will keep you posted!

****there is a full moon on Wednesday so who knows; maybe this will induce labor for me!! keep your fingers crossed!

***see how HUGE this belly is! Talk about uncomfortable toting this one around!! HA! no really, this baby needs to drop down some more!!

Winter 2008 Snow and Skiing

Here are some pictures of the recent snowfall here in Boise at the beginning of February. This is the kids' playhouse in the backyard where there was about 6 inches of snow. There is also a another view from our front door looking out at the neighborhood. Quite the winter in Boise!
Here is Payton skiing for the very first time on Saturday Feb. 16th. Travis took her up to Bogus Basin and signed her up for a private lesson to get a feel for skiing. She loved it! She is looking forward to many more ski trips with her Dad (this season) and then getting her brother and mom up there next year!

Shae's amazing counter trick!

I had to share this one with all of you! Boys will be boys and when they want something, they go for it!
