It's JUNE!!

Wow, May came and went in a flash! Payton graduated from Kindergarten and turned 6 during this time. She had a beach theme party with a sandcastle cake and had a few friends over. Shae finished up day care this month as well! Reid is growing like a weed. He is reaching, pulling, and grasping toys presented to him. Of course he investigates everything with his mouth! He is also trying to roll over. He had his 2 month check up at the beginning of May---he is off the charts in weight and height. He saw the doctor again yesterday (June 9) due to a bout of pink eye and we found out that he gained 3 pounds in one month! He is up to 20 pounds already!

Travis is well----he has the itch to go fishing ALL the time but is nice enough to keep that to a weekend hobby! He has gone the last few weekends with his boss; he also took his Dad out with him over Memorial Day for opening day at Silver Creek. He continues to tie his own flies and is becoming quite skillful at it. The kids are always mesmerized by the "bugs" he creates.

Travis's familiy came over for a visit over Memorial Day weekend and my family came the following weekend. We had so much fun with our families! It was nice to have them all over for a great visit and lots of fun relaxing and playing.

I found out at the end of May that the agency I work for will reduce the amount of staff after the conclusion of the summer. I originally thought that the owner would need to close down, but it has been decided that some of the therapists will continue with part time work in the fall. Long story short; Medicaid will only reimburse for services during the day that are billed by the public school system. This means that the private sector that provides therapy cannot bill before 3 pm. This stinks for those of us wanting to work at least 30 hours a week so I have decided to work very part time this summer and have began to look for a new job. I plan to call it quits as a manager in August. Bummer, but that is the way the penny bounces (right back into the pocket of the government in my opinion).

We don't have any plans during June or July this summer. With the way the price of gas and groceries are heading, I'm glad we are sticking close to home. We have season tickets to the water park so as soon as the weather perks up; that will be our get away from home! We do have a family trip with the Ferguson side of the family to Lake Chelan in August. We are busting at the seams in excitement for the week long stay! It will be a blast!!

Well I am uploading current video and pictures to my computer. I am hoping I will successfully get some uploaded to my site! Check back for those soon!

Enjoy your summer!!
